It was my first experience as a volunteer and I’m very happy that I came to Riberalta to work with Sustainable Bolivia.
I was a volunteer in biology and helped the organization in its work on biodiversity to research and know more about the Aquicuana Reserve, a beautiful municipal park part of the Amazon. A dream for biologists-to-be! Working in the Reserve, I really think I gained skills useful for my life and future studies!
Thanks to this experience, I learned a lot about myself and about the nature, the culture and the people from here. It was really an incredible adventure, lost in the middle of the Amazon, Riberalta is really a surprising city.
With sustainable Bolivia I met some amazing people including the team, fellow volunteers and local people! I also learned Spanish thanks to my Spanish classes but above all to my family. And finally, I learned to ride a motorbike, really necessary in Riberalta!
